  • KPI Spring Meeting - is May 19th at the Forest Laker in Forest Lake, MN at 10:00am. The meeting will be in the lakeside lounge this year ( main level if you are coming in the front entrance - up one flight of stairs if you are coming in the back ). All members are encouraged to attend.

  • 10:00am - registration ( for the banquet ) - at KPI table by the main entrance
  • 11:00am - election of 2012/2013 Board of Directors
  • 12:00pm - Raffle ticket sales begin
  • 12:30pm - Lunch buffet
  • 1:30pm - Raffle tickets sales to resume
  • 2:30pm - Award presentation
  • 4:30pm - Raffle winners announced

We will be having a pot luck dinner later in the evening. Sloppy Joes, buns, plates, silverware and cups will be provided. Please bring a dish to share, if you wish. If you have any questions about the banquet please contact Becky.

  • The KPI spring meeting is secluded for 10:00am Saturday, May 19th at the Forest Laker Lounge (in Forest Lake, MN) lower level.

Ice looks good, although the sun is softening the top layer. The race site is in the same location as last weekend ( across from the Blue Goose Inn ) in Garrison,MN.

  • Champ 120 - Will be the first race of the day, with the rest of the schedule following suite there after.

Contacts at Garrison say ice is good, although they received about 12" of snow Wednesday. Myself and Randy Houle will be building the race track tomorrow. Heavy snow creating water on the ice is a concern, please check back Friday afternoon for the final word.

  • Ice Shaving Fee - There will be a $15.00 ice shaving fee per/family.
  • Fun Races - There will be a sign up sheet for the buddy race ( which will be run with 120's with a stock gear ).
  • ISR F1 Kitty Cat Bulletin - ISR has waived the F1 Kitty Cat track rules to allow for new rubber tracks being tested. Please click on the highlighted - ISR F1 Kitty Cat Bulletin to view.

Again please check back tomorrow afternoon for race track conditions ( I do not anticipate any problems ).

  • The Junior Novice class will race Saturday through KPI ( please register with KPI for Saturday's Junior Novice race ). KPI'S Junior Novice will race ORA' s track for this, ORA is planning to run this race first thing in the morning on Saturday. ORA's junior novice class will race on Sunday and you will need to register with ORA for Sunday's race.

Kids Pro Ice Race - March 3rd 2012 - Relocated to Garrison,MN:

  • Due to ice conditions in the metro area, KPI's last race will be back at Garrison for 3-3-2012 and the award ceremony will be at the Blue Goose Inn.
  • Hotel information - KPI has a block rate of rooms for the March 3rd race at: Garrison Inn & Suites - 320-692-4050 (2 night stay required) of $211.62 ask for Kids Pro Ice block, block release date, 2-29-2012.
  • Grill~n at Garrison - 2-25-2012 - Plates,silverware and napkins will be provided by the Jureks (Beckys parents), if you have questions on donations, please contact Tim & Sue Johnson.
