Here is a schedule of events:

  • 10:00am - Check in (main lobby of the hotel).
  • 11:00am - Election of the 2013-2014 board members.
  • 12:00pm - Raffle ticket sales begin.
  • 12:30pm - Lunch buffet.
  • 1:30pm - Raffle ticket sales to resume.
  • 2:30pm - Awards presentation.
  • 4:30pm - Raffle winners announced.
  • There will be a potluck after the awards ceremony. Sloppy Joes, buns, plates/silverware and soda will be provided, please bring a dish to share.

Dennis from DZ Photography will be set up with many of his awesome shots of your racers. Make sure to check out what Dennis has to offer this year!

Jodi Gannot has arranged for Dan from Airbrushedhats.com to come and make stocking hats for the kids. Hat prices will start at $20.00.

We will start off the banquet with the election process. At that time if you are interested in any of the positions you will be able to put your name on the voting ballet or nominate someone for a position. If you have any questions about the officer positions you can go the the Kids Pro Ice - By-Laws, Article IV or contact myself or Cory Howard. Below are the officer positions that will need to be filled.

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary/Treasurer
  • Head Scorekeeper
  • Track Director / Assistant Track Director
  • Head Tech
  • (2)-120 Techs
  • (2)-Kitty Cat Techs

I would also like to mention that Kids Pro Ice is in desperate need of "on the track score keepers" for next race season. Please give serious thought to this as we can not continue to rely on just the few that we have. A minimum of four are needed, this would allow the score keepers to split the day up making it much easier for all. Becky and Sally are more than willing to train in score keepers next race season.

  • DZ Photography - Dennis from DZ Photography now has images online for 2013 Center City, Big Lake, and White Bear Lake. If you place orders before March 29th Dennis is offering 30% off!

  • Year End Points - In the event of a tie between two racers. The tie breaker is determined by going back to the racer that had the best finish in a final. If there is still a tie (although unlikely) we then go back to best finish in heat races between the two racers.
  • Banquet / Yearbook information - Again please mail in your banquet/yearbook information ASAP as we have a deadline to get the year-books done. If you need the mailing address please contact Becky and she will email the address to you.

  • Banquet / Yearbook information - Please remember to mail in your Banquet/Yearbook information to Becky by March 8th. We need them turned in to get started on the year-books.
  • 2012-2013 Awards Banquet - Saturday April 20th, Holiday Inn Mpls NW / Wild Woods Waterpark - 9200 Quaday Ave NE Elk River,MN 55330 (phone: 763-656-4400). Rooms must be reserved by March 20th.
  • KC Pro East has one more race left this season, which is also the last of the CanAm series - Mar 9, International Falls (@ Thunderbird Resort on Rainy Lake).

Registration will close tonight at 11:59pm. There will be no walk-ons allowed. Again, even if you plan to only race Sunday (LCQ's) you still need to register by 11:59 tonight.
